The workshop will feature comments and a response by Prof. Daniel Friedmann, followed by an open discussion.

Prof. Yotam Kaplan presented the group’s work at a conference hosted by Yale Law School, which explored the intersection of private law and climate change.

The event was part of a broader academic initiative that will culminate in the publication of The Oxford Handbook of Climate Change and Private Law, edited by Prof. Douglas Kysar and Prof. Ernest Lim.

The group contributed a chapter on climate change and the law of unjust enrichment, which was the focus of the presentation.

The opening event of the project featured welcoming remarks, a presentation of the project by Prof. Yotam Kaplan, and a fascinating lecture by Dr. Ohad Somech on the opioid crisis and unjust enrichment law.

The lecture is part of the "Ecologies of Private Law" series, organized by the Amsterdam Center for Transformative Private Law.
